GirlGuiding Lincolnshire Carnival Day (

In June 2007, Electric Cheer and Dance ran workshops at Market Rasen racecourse for the GirlGuiding Lincolnshire North Carnival Day. Rainbows, Brownies and Guides took part in Cheerleading sessions covering some of the key elements of our sport including Dance, Motions, Chants and Jumps in order to take part in the Carnival Day parade. The parade, which was lead by ECD, marched all the way around the racecourse with children of all ages waving Pom Poms they had made during craft workshops at the carnival! Electric Cheer and Dance Program Director and Coach, Sally, also entertained the crowds on stilts and handed out balloon models. The day was an absolute success and Electric have been asked back to lead other celebrations in 2010 with their entire program.
